👑 Originally, did you have a different storyline for little Sinna? 

Yes, Sinna’s storyline came to me very early on. I love using children in stories and she was so much fun to write! I’ve already written a chapter with Sinna, Callyn, and Nora in the second book. Here’s a sneak peek:

Princess Sinna keeps fiddling with the buckle on his jacket and says, “Well, I would very much like some sweetcakes, Da.”

💍 Are Rhen and Harper going to get married and/or have children? 

This is probably my most frequently asked question. So many people want a royal wedding scene. Should I do it?

⚔ I want to know more about Alek! Should we view him as the “bad guy” or is there more to his story we just don’t know yet? 

Oh, there is SO much more to Alek’s story.

👨‍❤️‍👨 How did you go about crafting/deciding on Tycho and Jax’s dynamic? It was so so lovely! 

This one is a little tougher to answer, mostly because I wrote a lot of their trauma from a raw and personal place, so I find it very meaningful that so many readers are relating to them in such a powerful way.

⚔ What was it like writing Tycho and Rhen’s interactions? I’m so excited for him to meet Jax. 

Tycho and Rhen took me by surprise – but I LOVE how their chapters turned out. That’s the best kind of writing surprise.

As for Jax and Rhen, um … here’s a sneak peek from THEIR first solo conversation: (monkey eyes)

Prince Rhen says, “I’m going to leave, Jax. Before this conversation ends in a way that we’ll both regret.”

🔍 Will we see more of the royal family from the POV of Callyn and Jax? It’s so cool seeing these characters we already know and love from other perspectives. 

Yes for sure!

⏳ How much time passes between books 1 and 2? 

Practically none at all. Book two opens within days of the final events in book one.

👩 Can we see more Nolla Verin in the next book? 

Yes!! Lots!!

Right now I’ve only written chapters for Tycho, Callyn, and Jax. But that doesn’t mean anything.
